How far in advance do I need to schedule?
We recommend scheduling services in one to two weeks in advance for a single service, and two to three weeks in advance for package reservations. As availability often varies, we are more than happy to check on any scheduling request.
What if I have special health considerations?
Please notify our front desk team when reserving your appointment if you have high blood pressure, allergies, other physical ailments, or if you are pregnant or have any disabilities. If you are having waxing services, please let us know if you are taking any antibiotics.
May I request a male or female therapist?
Yes, of course. The utmost respect for your modesty is a hallmark of our spa services. While some body treatments require you to remove all of your clothing, careful draping procedures are observed at all times.
What should I wear?
Your visit is all about relaxation and pampering, so please come in what is comfortable. For our guests enjoying our spa packages, we provide lockers, robes, sandals, towels, shower facilities, and select toiletry items. When coming in for a pedicure, we recommend bringing open-toed sandals and loose pants. We do suggest leaving your jewelry and valuables at home.
What about my jewelry and valuables?
We recommend you leave your jewelry, watches, and valuables at home. We do not take responsibility for your valuables while you are at the spa.
Should I shave prior to my spa service?
We recommend that you do not shave the day of, for any of our exfoliating services, which may irritate freshly shaven skin. We do recommend men shave prior to their facial.
When should I arrive?
Please check in 10 minutes prior to the start of your appointment. This will allow you plenty of time to change, if needed, and relax in our waiting area.
Where should I park my car?
You are welcome to use our parking lot, which is located on the east side of the building. There is also metered street parking available, however, you may only park on the street for 2 hours at a time. Street parking is free after 5pm and on the weekends.
What if I need to cancel an appointment?
Unforeseen things happen. If you find yourself unable to keep an appointment, we do request 24-hour notice. Guests who do not honor their appointments or cancel in less than 24 hours may be charged a cancellation fee.
What if I am late for my appointment?
It is possible that we will have to shorten or reschedule your appointment. If your treatment is shortened, it will end on time so that our next guest will not be delayed.
Are children permitted in the spa?
For the comfort of all our guests and the enjoyment of your experience, children are not permitted in our spa unless they are scheduled for an appointment.
Do you allow cell phones and pagers?
To maintain our peaceful atmosphere, we request that you turn off your cell phone and/or pager when visiting our spa.
What methods of payment do you accept?
Payment is made at the end of your visit at the check-out desk. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, debit cards, Missoula Downtown gift cards, check or cash as forms of payment. Personal checks must contain an in-state address, current phone number and driver’s license. If a gift card is your form of payment, please bring it with you and present it to the Sorella’s receptionist.
How much gratuity should I leave?
Gratuity is always at the client’s discretion, but average gratuity rates anywhere from 15%-20%.
What should I expect when receiving a bikini or Brazilian wax?
Your hair length must be at least 1/4in for the wax to adhere properly. We recommend exfoliating the night before and suggest that you take ibuprofen about 30 minutes prior to your treatment to take the edge off and help reduce inflammation following your service. It is a good idea to wear loose-fitting pants or a skirt as tight clothes can chafe or be irritating after a waxing service. We offer disposable bikinis for those who prefer a bit more modesty (not for a Brazilian).
Are gift certificates available?
Gift cards are always available, whether for dollar amounts or for specific services. All gift cards can be used toward any of our services or products. They are worth the value they were purchased for and never expire. Gift cards are non-refundable. Gift cards may be purchased over the phone using a credit card, in store, or online. We can mail gift cards for you at no additional cost, but we do not email gift cards.
